Aditya Dhar shares romantic birthday wish for wife Yami Gautam: "Lucky I get to live this life with you"

On the occasion of Yami Gautam’s 37th birthday, her husband and filmmaker Aditya Dhar penned a heartfelt tribute on social media, expressing immense love and gratitude for her presence in his life.

Calling Yami his “favourite person,” he said he feels truly fortunate to share his life with her, making his birthday message especially touching.

In his warm note, the Dhurandhar director praised Yami not just as his partner but also for the compassion and positivity she radiates. Posting a series of candid photos of the actress, he wrote, “Happy Birthday, Yami. You’re my favourite person to talk to, laugh with, plan things with, and come home to. Thank you for being so giving, so caring, and so completely you. I’m lucky I get to live this life with you. I love you!”
The photos he shared captured Yami enjoying quiet moments in the hills, working out at the gym, and cherishing memories from a recent mountain retreat.

Yami and Aditya’s journey began on the sets of the 2019 hit Uri: The Surgical Strike, where he directed the film and she portrayed a key character. What started as a simple friendship eventually deepened into a meaningful relationship. After keeping their bond private for some time, the couple surprised fans with their intimate wedding announcement in June 2021. Their story reached yet another joyful milestone in 2024, when they welcomed their son, Vedavid, into the world.
