AR Rahman, the celebrated composer known for his groundbreaking work in Indian music, recently offered insightful advice to his fellow musician, Anirudh Ravichander.

A R Rahman, who has won numerous accolades including Grammy Awards, has always been an influential figure in the industry. During the audio launch event for the upcoming film Kadhalikka Neramillai, he shared his thoughts on Anirudh's musical journey, urging the young composer to expand his horizons beyond the big-budget hero films he often works on.

Anirudh has become a significant name in the South Indian music industry, known for his catchy compositions for some of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema.

Rahman, acknowledging the brilliance of Anirudh's music, offered a small yet impactful piece of advice. He emphasized that Anirudh should not only focus on the commercial success of his music but also consider incorporating classical elements, particularly Raga-based versions, into his songs. Rahman explained, “Anirudh is doing very good music. My small request to you is to have a classical version of the song so that the longevity is much more. Because when you do, it will reach the younger generation.”
