Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna recently visited Varanasi following the resounding success of his latest film Akhanda 2, which has emerged as a major box office force within its first week of release. The veteran Telugu actor was seen offering prayers at the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, marking the film’s strong theatrical run with a spiritual gesture of gratitude.

Akhanda 2 has enjoyed an impressive opening week at the box office, crossing the Rs 76 crore mark within seven days. The film has witnessed packed theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with strong occupancy continuing through weekdays. Trade analysts note that the sequel has not only lived up to expectations but, in many centres, surpassed the performance of the first instalment, reaffirming Balakrishna’s unmatched pull among mass audiences.

Visuals from Balakrishna’s visit to Varanasi have been widely shared on social media. The actor was seen dressed in traditional attire, walking barefoot and participating in temple rituals alongside priests and aides.
