Adnan Sani talks about the reason behind his physical transformation, says 'the doctor said your parents will find you dead'

Adnan Sami was secretly battling a serious health issue that could have ended his life at the height of his musical career. The well-known singer, who weighed 230 kg, was in danger, but he didn't realise how serious his condition was until he had to face reality after a very emotional conversation with his father.

Adnan talked openly about his previous health issues and the moment that caused him to undergo a significant change in an interview with India TV.

Despite the toll his weight was taking on his health and daily life, Adnan admitted he was initially indifferent. Recalling a crucial visit to the doctor, he shared, “Doctors told me that my results are on the borderline. They said, ‘If you continue this lifestyle, I will not be surprised that your parents will find you dead in a hotel room six months from now.’ It was a shock for me but I was angry because he said this in front of my father. I told my father to ignore the doctor as they tend to be melodramatic."

Instead of taking the warning seriously, Adnan initially responded with denial and defiance. “After visiting the doctor, I went straight to a bakery and ate half of their goods. My father was looking at me with anger and he asked, ‘Aren’t you scared of God?’ He rebuked me for ignoring what the doctor said and I told him, ‘Doctors keep saying things.’"
