Gully Boy fame, Siddhant Chaturvedi starts his "Diwali ki Safai" with a bang. Siddhant took to Instagram, where he shared a video of himself holding a mop and cleaning the floor along with dancing to the track “CHUMMA” from the film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri
Siddhant praised, Pawan Singh, singer of the "Chumma" song and gave his best wishes to the leads, Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri of "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video".
He wrote, "Kuch nahi Diwali ke pehle ki safai chal rahi hai. Lekin ye gaana! Bhaiya Ballia se pranam! @singhpawan999 Power aur swag ho toh aisan! The movie also stars Mallika Sherawat, Rakesh Bedi and Vijay Raaz. This film is about a couple who decide to record their first night and store it in a DVD as a souvenir. Later, their CD gets stolen along with the CD player.
Triptii Dimri, Raj kummar Rao and Mallika Sherawat are all set to promote their film on the sets of Bigg Boss 18, "Weekend Ka Vaar" on October 12th, hosted by Salman Khan.
The movie released in the theatres today and got mix reviews from the public.
As of now, the movie has earned around 1.40 Cr India net on its first day.
Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra also release today and has been in neck-to-neck clash with the movie, with earning slightly higher, with 1.70 Cr till now.
Talking about Siddhant, he will be next seen in "Dhadak 2", which also stars Triptii Dimri. The film is a sequal to 2018 film, "Dhadak" which originally starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar as debutants.
Talking to IANS about the film, Siddhant said: "My character in the film is quite different from what has been seen in Indian cinema. It's a challenging role that requires a lot of emotional depth, and I'm looking forward to bringing it to life on screen with Triptii.
"Dhadak 2" is a remake of Tamil film,'Pariyerum Perumal' directed by Mari Selvaraj. It will showcase the love story of a couple who come from different castes.
