Actor Vijay and Nassar

In a recent interview with Madan Gowri, veteran actor Nassar opened up about his personal life and the deep connection between his family and actor Vijay. Nassar shared an emotional and heartwarming story about his son, Noorul Hassan Faizal, who had once been in a critical state after falling into a coma for 14 days. During this challenging period, the family found unexpected solace in Vijay's presence, which played a significant role in their lives.

Nassar explained that his son, Faizal, was a massive fan of Vijay. "He was always fond of Vijay and even met him once to express how much he admired him," said Nassar. However, the real testament to Vijay's importance in their lives came when Faizal was in a coma. According to Nassar, after Faizal regained consciousness following the 14-day coma, the first name he called out wasn’t his mother’s or father’s, but Vijay’s.

“When he woke up, he didn’t say amma (mother) or appa (father); he said Vijay,” Nassar recalled. This moment of confusion left the family puzzled, as Faizal had a friend named Vijay, and they were unsure which Vijay he was referring to.

At first, the family was relieved to know that his memory seemed intact, but when Faizal met his friend Vijay, he didn’t recognize him at all. "He looked at him blankly," Nassar said.
