Ace Twitter Review: Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu's romantic-comedy gets greenlight from the audience

Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu's starrer Ace is a hit among the audience. While some viewers called it a refreshingly fun crime comedy, others praised the comedy and actions of the actors.

Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu add perfect comedy in Ace

Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Tamil romantic crime comedy Ace recently hit the theatres with early reviews storming the social media handles. Directed, written, and produced by Arumuga Kumar, the latest film notably marked Sethupathi’s 51st project as the lead actor in his career.

The film has received positive reviews from the audience, especially for its fun storyline and Sethupathi’s performance.

On X user wrote, “LetsXOtt: #Ace - FIRST HALF — After a long time, really enjoyed a clean, funny, romantic & a Totally  unexpected genre from Vijay Sethupathi. Bold Kannan Role. Perfectly suited him The humour worked so well — the whole theatre was laughing throug…”
Another person said, “#ACE delivers a usual commercial entertainer, blending songs, action, and comedy in perfect balance. The standout feature is the hilarious #VijaySethupathi & #YogiBabu duo. Director  @Aaru_Dir crafts a mass-appealing film set against a vibrant Malaysia backdrop.”


A third critic added, “#ACE -  @VijaySethuOffl’s film is a refreshingly fun crime comedy that’s mostly lighthearted and makes for a good watch. Feels a slightly bloated in length, but thankfully has enough LOL moments to keep the proceedings going."

The tweet continued, "One of those films where the hero picks brains over brawn. @rukminitweets shines in her Tamil debut with a meaty part. @iYogiBabu gets a solid part to entertain after a long time.”
One wrote, “Fight Scenes In #Ace Are Impressively Choreographed. I Particularly Enjoyed The Restaurant Sequence In The 1st Half & Action Scenes In The 2nd Half.”


Another penned, "Firs & foremost the movie did not bore or cringe at any point.The movie just needed better staging & execution, was feeling like watching film that should have come 10 years back(KTv Movies). @VijaySethuOffl & #YogiBabu managed to evoke laughter at intervals,#RukminiVasanth was such a delight to watch.Okay Padam."
The recently released film also stars Yogi Babu in a supporting role. The film follows Kannan, who seeks a new life in a foreign country but gets dragged into a shark circle. However, things took a messy twist when a daring heist turned their hope into a curse, forcing him to outsmart fate itself.
