The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the commencement of the UPSC EPFO 2025 recruitment process for 230 vacancies in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). UPSC EPFO 2025 Vacancy Details
The recruitment drive aims to fill positions for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC). Prospective applicants are advised to thoroughly review the official notification before applying to ensure eligibility.
UPSC EPFO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university to be eligible for both EO/AO and APFC posts.
Age Limit (As on August 18, 2025): For the EO/AO posts, the maximum age limit is 30 years for General/EWS candidates. Age relaxation applies as follows: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
For the APFC posts, the maximum age limit is 35 years for General/EWS candidates. Age relaxation is extended to 38 years for OBC candidates, 40 years for SC/ST candidates, and 45 years for PwBD candidates.
UPSC EPFO 2025 Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission. The Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-8, while the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) will receive a salary under Pay Matrix Level-10.
UPSC EPFO 2025 Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages: a written examination conducted by UPSC, followed by an interview. A final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in both stages, and appointments will be made accordingly.

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay a Rs. 25 processing fee along with the examination fee (if applicable). However, SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from fee payment.
