NIOS Class 10, 12 date sheet 2026 released
The institute has published the full schedule on website. Theory examinations will begin from April 10, 2026. Exams will be conducted at designated centres across country. Most papers will be held during afternoon session timings. The general timing will be from 2:30 PM onwards.

Practical exams and state-wise schedule changes
The practical examinations are currently being conducted for students. These practical exams started on March 17, 2026. They will continue until April 1, 2026 as planned. Students must complete practicals before appearing in theory exams.
The institute has revised dates in some states carefully. Changes apply in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and others. West Bengal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh also have changes. Admit card, instructions and result timeline
Students will soon receive admit cards through official portal. Hall tickets must be carried to examination centres compulsorily. Students will get 15 minutes for reading question papers. This time will be provided before writing begins.
The institute confirmed no changes after schedule announcement now. Students should prepare based on given timetable strictly. Results are expected about seven weeks after final exam. The results will be published online for students access.
