NEET UG 2025 counseling is primarily divided into two categories:
15% All India Quota (AIQ) Seats: Conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) through its official website, mcc.nic.in. This includes 100% seats of AMU, BHU, JMI, ESIC, AIIMS, JIPMER, and 15% AIQ seats in various state medical and dental colleges, along with seats in DU, IP University, VMMC, and ABVIMS.
85% State Quota (SQ) Seats: Managed by the respective State Counseling Authorities. Candidates seeking admission under their state's quota must refer to their state's official medical education directorate websites for separate counseling schedules and procedures.

- Class 10th Marksheet and Certificate
- Class 12th Marksheet and Certificate
- Birth Certificate (if not mentioned on Class 10th certificate)
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD, if applicable, in the prescribed format)
- Residence/Domicile Certificate (mandatory for State Quota counseling)
- Passport-size photographs (preferably the same as uploaded in the NEET application form)
- Aadhaar Card or other valid Photo Identity Card
- Provisional Allotment Letter (generated online after seat allotment)
