A special coaching initiative by the Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps has led to a remarkable success story in Arunachal Pradesh. Of the 44 students trained under the free, high-impact coaching programme between July 2024 and April 2025, 38 have successfully cleared the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination, officials confirmed on Friday.

The students hail from the remote border areas of Jang and Dirang in the West Kameng district, where access to quality education is often limited. The coaching initiative was part of a broader mission to bridge the educational divide and empower children in underserved and geographically isolated regions.

According to the official statement, army instructors provided rigorous academic training along with motivational support, focusing on developing discipline, confidence, and competitive skills required to succeed at the national level.

“These brilliant young minds are the future of India. Their success proves that with the right guidance, even the most remote areas can produce top talent,” said the Army’s Public Relations Officer.
