The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released important information regarding the upcoming CBSE Class 10 and 12 results for 2025. The Board has informed schools and students that DigiLocker security PINs (also known as Access Codes) are now available. These PINs are needed to download digital copies of the marksheet, school leaving certificate, and migration certificate once the results are declared.
According to the latest CBSE notification, “CBSE 10th Result 2025 and CBSE 12th Result 2025 are releasing soon,” and the “CBSE Board Result 2025 is under preparation.” The results will be available on the official websites:
- results.cbse.gov.in
- cbseresults.nic.in
- cbse.gov.in
CBSE has provided schools with student-wise Access Codes through their DigiLocker school accounts. Schools are required to download and share these codes with each student individually to ensure data privacy and secure access.
How Schools Can Download DigiLocker PINs
To enable students to download their CBSE Result 2025 documents, schools must follow these steps to access the PINs:
- Visit digitallocker.gov.in
- Log in using CBSE LOC (List of Candidates) credentials by selecting “Login as School”
- Click on “Download PIN File”
- Choose either Class 10 or Class 12
- Once the file is downloaded, securely distribute the individual PINs to each student
Once results are declared, students can access their digital marksheets and certificates using DigiLocker, a government-backed document storage platform. CBSE will also send DigiLocker login credentials to students' registered mobile numbers via SMS.

CBSE has introduced this 6-digit Access Code as a security measure to ensure that only authorised students can view and download their documents. If a student has not received the security PIN, they should contact their school without delay.
