The Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (BTEUP) has officially announced the results for the Odd Semester and Special Back Paper examinations. The outcomes, which were declared on the board’s official portal, bteup.ac.in, come with a stark warning against malpractice, as hundreds of students faced severe penalties for writing contact information on their answer sheets.
The examinations, conducted across November and December 2025, saw significant participation. Official data reveals that out of 1,68,570 registered candidates, a total of 1,64,180 students appeared. This includes 1,35,815 candidates for the Odd Semester exams and 28,365 candidates for the Special Back Paper tests. The evaluation process was extensive, with 6,54,790 answer sheets being assessed digitally at 186 examination centers.
Strict Action Against Malpractice: 644 Students Get Zero
In a decisive move to uphold academic integrity, BTEUP has enforced strict disciplinary action. 644 students have been awarded zero marks in their respective papers after they were found to have written their mobile numbers on answer sheets. The board’s examination committee recommended the stringent penalty to deter any attempts to manipulate the evaluation process.
This action underscores the board’s zero-tolerance policy towards any conduct that could compromise fair assessment. The affected students have been declared failed in that particular subject, serving as a cautionary measure for future examinees.
How to check BTEUP Result 2025?
Students can now access their scores by following these simple steps:
Step 1. Visit the official BTEUP website: www.bteup.ac.in.
Step 2. Navigate to the "Results" section or find the active link for "Odd Semester/Special Back Paper Result 2025."
Step 3. Enter the required credentials: your Enrollment Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4. Submit the details to view and download your result.
Step 5. It is advisable to take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

The board has also stated that the results of 55 students have been withheld currently. These candidates are advised to contact their respective institutions or the BTEUP office directly for further clarification and updates regarding their results.
JEECUP 2026 Application Process Begins Concurrently
In related news for polytechnic aspirants in Uttar Pradesh, the Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEECUP) has commenced its admission process for the 2026-27 academic session. The online application window opened on January 15, 2026, and will remain open until April 30, 2026.
The JEECUP 2026 entrance examination for diploma courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other fields is scheduled as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from May 15 to May 22, 2026. Results are expected by May 30, 2026, with online counseling starting from June 05, 2026. The new academic session is set to begin on August 01, 2026. Candidates can apply on the official portal: jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
