AISSEE 2025 Entrance Exam Date Released for Class 6 and 9, Check Schedule Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date for the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. The entrance exam for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 will be held on 5 April 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can check the official schedule on aissee.nta.nic.in.

AISSEE 2025 Exam Schedule

• Class 6: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm


• Class 9: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The exam will be conducted in 190 cities across India to ensure accessibility for students nationwide.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

For Class 6:

• Duration: 150 minutes


• Total Marks: 300


• Subjects: Language, Mathematics, Intelligence, General Knowledge


• Question Type: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

For Class 9:

• Duration: 180 minutes


• Total Marks: 400


• Subjects: Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Knowledge, Social Science


• Question Type: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

Admission Process

Admission to Sainik Schools will be based on the candidate’s performance in AISSEE 2025, followed by:

• E-Counselling: Seat allocation based on the merit list.


• Medical Examination: Candidates must be certified as medically fit.


• Document Verification: Submission and verification of original documents.

To qualify, candidates must secure at least 25 percent marks in each subject, along with a minimum of 40 percent aggregate marks.
