Mumbai’s Harbour Line train services to be closed for 14.5 hours on Sept 13-14 for diversion line works

The block on Mumbai's Harbour Line services between Vadala Road and Mankhurd will begin at 11.05 pm on Saturday and continue till 1.35 pm on Sunday. CR officials said both the Up and Down Harbour lines will remain closed during this period.

Central Railway (CR) has announced a disruption on Mumbai's Harbour Line services between Vadala Road and Mankhurd due to a planned work, advising passengers to find alternative transport.

Services on this crucial line, which serves thousands of commuters, will be shut down for a 14.5-hour period on Saturday and Sunday, as the Central Railway carries out infrastructure work related to newly proposed diversion lines between Kurla and Tilak Nagar stations.

According to a report by The Indian Express, the block will begin at 11.05 pm on Saturday and continue till 1.35 pm on Sunday. CR officials said both the Up and Down Harbour lines will remain closed during this period.

All Down Harbour line services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:20 pm on Saturday and 1:19 pm on Sunday will be cancelled, while all Up Harbour services towards CSMT leaving from Panvel between 10:07 pm on Saturday and 12:56 pm on Sunday will also remain cancelled.
