Tata Harrier.ev scores 5-star safety rating at Bharat NCAP

The Tata Harrier.ev has been launched in India with its bookings set to open on July 2.

The Harrier.ev has had the best safety performance among all the Tata cars tested at Bharat NCAP.

The Tata Harrier.ev has scored a five-star safety rating at the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP) with highest points for any model from the homegrown auto giant tested till date.

The flagship electric SUV of the company received a five-star safety rating in both adult occupant protection (AOP) category and child occupant protection (COP) category.

While the Harrier.ev garnered 32 points out of 32 in the AOP category, it bagged 45 points out of 49 in the COP category.

Apart from the Harrier.ev, Tata's internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric SUVs like the Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, Safari, Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and Curvv.ev have been crash tested at Bharat NCAP.
