Maruti Suzuki India has become the country's first passenger vehicle (PV) manufacturer to achieve cumulative domestic sales of 3 crore units. The milestone, reached within 42 years of operations, underscores the company's sustained leadership in the Indian car market and its strong customer base.

The company achieved its first crore sales milestone in 28 years and 2 months. The second crore was reached in just 7 years and 5 months, while the third crore took a record 6 years and 4 months.

Among the 3 crore vehicles sold, the Alto remains the best-selling model with over 47 lakh units. It is followed by the WagonR at more than 34 lakh units and the Swift with over 32 lakh units. Compact SUVs such as the Brezza and Fronx also feature among the top 10 models in Maruti Suzuki's domestic portfolio.
