Semiconductor startup Netrasemi raises Rs 107 crore in series A from Zoho and Unicorn India Ventures

Netrasemi plans to utilise the proceeds to accelerate R&D, scale up manufacturing, and rollout four new system-on-chip (SoC) variants into production. The startup also plans to double its engineering team from 83 to 166 people over the next year.

Semiconductor startup Netrasemi has raised Rs 107 crore in a Series A funding round led by Zoho Corporation and existing investor Unicorn India Ventures, the firm said in a statement on July 24.

The funding has come at a time when India is doubling down on building a self-reliant semiconductor ecosystem, and reflects a growing investor interest in deep-tech startups working on indigenous chip solutions for AI and IoT applications.

Netrasemi plans to utilise the proceeds to accelerate R&D, scale up manufacturing, and rollout four new system-on-chip (SoC) variants into production for sectors like surveillance, industrial robotics and smart infrastructure.

The startup also plans to double its engineering team from 83 to 166 people over the next year.
