Granite Asia invests in Artificial Intelligence (AI) data foundry firm Centific's $60 million Series A, led by Midas List investor Jenny Lee. The company will use the funds to expand as the independent AI data backbone for global agentic AI systems.
Granite Asia is an investment firm that has 56 unicorns and 31 IPOs globally.
The funding assumes significance at a time when demand for sovereign, secure, and scalable agentic AI infrastructure is surging.
Founded in 2020, Centific has operated behind the scenes to power many of the world's most transformative AI breakthroughs. The company develops and deploys foundational models, multimodal systems, next-generation agentic AI, and language AI inferencing.
The company says it is uniquely positioned to become a foundational partner in the enterprise AI stack, backed by its global delivery infrastructure, strong existing client base, and commitment to safe and responsible AI.
“At Granite Asia, we back the builders of enduring infrastructure for the future of industry, and Centific reflects that vision," said Jenny Lee, Senior Managing Partner at Granite Asia.
Centific will utilise the fund to expand functionality and capabilities, invest in R&D frontiers, among others.
