The United States has strongly condemned the dastardly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, and reaffirmed its support to India. Both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vande spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extended their unequivocal support to New Delhi in its fight against terrorism.

Meanwhile, the US government’s foreign affairs committee went on to point out American publication New York Times for using the word “militants” instead of “terrorists” in one of its report on the attack.
