The Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has announced the birth of his fourth child, a baby girl who he has named as 'Hind Bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.'
Sheikh posted an Instagram story saying: "O Allah, grant her a heart filled with your love, make her a source of light and guidance, and clothe her in the garments of health and well-being."(This is rough translation of his Instagram post.)
Her name, Hind bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, was also revealed in the same post.
Her name ‘Hind’ honors Sheikh Hamdan’s mother, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum, who is the wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan welcomed twins, Rashid and Shaikha, in May 2021 and his son Mohammed in February 2023.

In 2019, he married his cousin, Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, in a joint ceremony with his brothers. Sheikha Sheikha, also from the Al Maktoum family, leads a private life with limited public information.
