Will US intervene in the ongoing Israel-Iran war? After days of speculations, there is an official word on the situation. During a White House press briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a message from President Donald Trump, saying he will decide within the next two weeks whether the US will take action, as there is a possibility of upcoming negotiations with Iran.

The statement comes amid reports by the American news channel CBS that Trump is totally viewing 'disabling the Fordo nuclear site as necessary.' As per CBS report, Trump is of view that there is actually not much of a choice for the US. "Finishing job means destroying Fordo," the report said.
When asked about the message for "everyday Trump supporters" concerned about potential US involvement, Press Secretary Leavitt urged them to "trust in President Trump."
She praised the president’s instincts and credited him with maintaining global stability during his first term through a policy of "peace through strength."

Leavitt noted that diplomatic efforts with Iran are ongoing but declined to explain why Trump believes there is still a "substantial chance" for negotiations.
In response to a question about the administration's position on regime change in Iran, she emphasised that the president’s top priority is to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
