Iran targeted US airbases in Qatar on Monday evening.

Within minutes of US President Donald Trump announcing a truce between Israel and Iran, Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi claimed no ceasefire has been agreed to. He, however, went on to add on the X platform that "provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards."'

This puts ball in Tel Aviv's court. "The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later," Araghchi said.

"The military operations of our powerful Armed Forces to punish Israel for its aggression continued until the very last minute, at 4am. Together with all Iranians, I thank our brave Armed Forces who remain ready to defend our dear country until their last drop of blood, and who responded to any attack by the enemy until the very last minute," the Iranian Foreign Minister said in another post.

It should be noted that 4am is the cutoff the minister gave Israel to stop its "aggression" against Tehran.

Oil prices have continued their decline following President Trump's announcement of a ceasefire.
