The Quality of Life Report 2025 of Numbeo relies on such measures as life expectancy, education, health of children, pollution, safety, and social services as sources of evaluations of how comfortable life is in various countries. The rankings create a very sharp contrast between the countries that are at the top, not only well-managed in terms of the basic needs, but also offer investments in well-being. The bottom-up people find it difficult to provide a stable and secure environment to their citizens.
Best 10 Countries
1. The country that has the highest score (~ 218.2) in terms of index is Luxembourg due to the high purchasing power, low crime, good healthcare and social welfare systems.
2. The Netherlands comes in second place, and it has a balanced social benefit system, infrastructure and environment.
3. Denmark is in third place and is known to have social equality, welfare, and work-life balance.
4. The only non-European country in the top 10 is Oman, which shines in terms of safety, infrastructure and quality services offered by the government.
5. Switzerland comes right behind in terms of healthcare, environment and stability.
6. Finland is listed as achieving excellence in education, social support, and quality of the environment.
7. Norway is one of the top ones concerning its well-developed social system, natural environment, and security.
