The much-anticipated Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway, also known as the Samruddhi Mahamarg, is set to be completed with the inauguration of its final 76-km stretch on June 5, 2025. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will officially open the last segment, connecting Igatpuri in Nashik to Amane in Thane—bridging the mountainous terrain that was the final missing link.

This milestone will reduce the travel time between Nagpur and Mumbai from a tedious 16 hours to just 8 hours, cutting the journey in half and making this 701-km corridor India’s fastest expressway.
