Vivo recently launched its new V40 series smartphones in India. The lineup includes two phones – V40 and V40 Pro. The handsets come with Zeiss-tuned cameras and offer features like an octa–core processor, improved aura light ring, and bigger battery with 80W fast charging support. The V40 Pro is all-set to go on sale starting today.

Vivo has launched the V40 Pro smartphone in two variants -- 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The base variant price starts at Rs 49,999 and the 12GB variant costs Rs 55,999.

Vivo is offering an instant discount on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank credit and debit cards on both full payment and EMI transactions till August 31. Also, the offer is applicable on Vivo e-store purchase only. This means, the base variant will get Rs 4,999 discount and the 12GB variant will cost Rs 5,599 less than the selling price.
Vivo V40 Pro specifications
Vivo V40 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display can reach up to 4500-nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Apart from this, the phone features dual-SIM support along with eSIM and there’s no microSD card slot on offer.
Vivo has also added the IP68 water and dust resistance to the V40 Pro which means the phone can sustain water submersion up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.
V40 Pro runs Android 14 with Funtouch 14 custom user interface and is backed by a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
In terms of camera, the phone features a 50MP wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a third 50MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is also a 50MP sensor. Also, all the four cameras are optimised by Zeiss.
