Samsung is gearing up for its annual Galaxy Unpacked event, expected to be held next month. While the company has not officially announced the date, leaked documents suggest January 22 as the likely launch date.
The event is expected to feature the debut of the Galaxy S25 series, which includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Slim.
Ahead of the official reveal, leaks surrounding the Galaxy S25 Ultra have surfaced, focusing on its colour options. According to popular leaker @iceuniverse on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in a new blue shade. The leak features a grey colour swatch labelled as “S25 Ultra. Blue,” hinting at a blue-grey tone.
Previous leaks have also pointed to other colours for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, including space grey, deep blue, light blue, and grey. It remains uncertain how distinct these colours are from one another, but the variations appear to emphasize shades of blue and grey. It is also unclear whether these colour options will extend to other Galaxy S25 models.
Other details about the Galaxy S25 Ultra have also been leaked. Reports indicate that the smartphone will feature 16GB of RAM in its 512GB and 1TB storage variants, while the base 256GB model will include 12GB of RAM. This marks a key differentiation within the Galaxy S25 series lineup.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea are expected to begin on January 24, 2025, and run through February 3. Sales and deliveries are likely to start on February 7. A similar pre-order timeline is anticipated for international markets, including the US.
