Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses launched: 10 things to know about AI-powered glasses

The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses start at Rs 29,900 and go up to Rs 35,700, depending on the model and lens configuration.

Pre-orders are open on Ray-Ban.com. The glasses will be available in major optical and sunglass retail outlets across India starting May 19.

Frame options:
Buyers can choose between two frame styles — Wayfarer and the new Skyler — both offering a mix of design and function.

Lens choices
The glasses come with multiple lens options: sun lenses, clear lenses, and polarised variants.

Built-in Meta AI
The glasses feature Meta AI integration. Users can activate it with the phrase “Hey Meta” to access AI tools and capabilities.

A 12MP camera is embedded in the frame, enabling users to take Full HD photos and record up to 60 seconds of video.

App and social media integration
The smart glasses work with Meta platforms such as WhatsApp and Messenger. Users can send messages and make audio or video calls directly from the glasses.

The glasses offer improved sound quality and broader app support, enhancing voice command interaction and media playback.
