Motorola has silently launched two new G series smartphones in Europe. The Motorola Moto G55 and Motorola Moto G35 are the latest budget offerings from the Lenovo-owned brand and share most specifications and designs. Both smartphones come with a dual rear camera setup and have a big 5,000 mAh battery.
Motorola Moto G55, Moto G35: Price, availability
The Motorola Moto G55 is available at Euro 249 (roughly Rs. 24,000) in Europe. It is available in Forest Grey, Smoky Green, and Twilight Purple colour shades. Meanwhile, the Moto G35 is priced at Euros 199 (roughly Rs. 19,000). It is offered in Leaf Green, Guava Red, Midnight Black, and Sage Green colour options.
Both phones are confirmed to be available in select European, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific markets and will be available for purchase in the coming weeks.
Motorola Moto G55, Moto G35: Specs, features
The Moto G55 features a 6.49-inch Full HD display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Moto G35, on the other hand, has a larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen, with a similar up to 120Hz refresh rate. The Moto G55 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Moto G35 has the same RAM and storage option but is powered by the Unisoc T670 SoC.
In the optics department, the Moto G55 includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP secondary sensor. It also has a 16MP selfie camera. The Moto G35 has the same camera setup. However, it does not support OIS (optical image stabilisation).
Both phones are backed by a 5000mAh battery, but the Moto G55 sports 33W fast charging. The Moto G35 offers 18W fast charging. Both smartphones also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and side-mounted fingerprint scanners.
