Honor 400 series scheduled to launch in China next week, to come with large capacity batteries

After announcing the global launch date, Honor has now revealed the China launch date of the Honor 400 series. The Chinese tech brand has also shared new teasers online, revealing the battery and chipset details of the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. Both smartphones will offer significantly larger capacity batteries than their predecessors and will run on Snapdragon chipsets. The European launch will take place on May 22.

Honor 400, Honor 400 Pro: China launch date, expected specifications

The vice president of Honor China, Lin Lin, has shared a new post on Weibo confirming that the Honor 400 series will launch in the country on May 28. Further, the lineup is confirmed to feature a metal middle frame and will be powered by Snapdragon chipsets. The Honor 400 is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Honor 400 Pro is teased to come with a ‘new generation’ of Snapdragon flagship chip, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Based on another post shared on Weibo, both smartphones will likely have a 7,200 mAh battery, which is a huge upgrade from the 5,300mAh battery capacity on the Honor 300 series. However, the global variants of the Honor 400 series are set to come with different battery capacities. As per the listing on the Honor UK website, the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will have 6,000 mAh battery packs.
