HMD Vibe 5G with 50MP camera, 5,000 mAh battery, launched in India alongside two 4G feature phones

Finnish mobile phone maker Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has introduced three new phones in India this week. It includes a budget 5G smartphone, named HMD Vibe, alongside the HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G keypad-based feature phones. The HMD Vibe 5G is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at Rs 11,999. However, it is currently available at a special festive price of Rs 8,999. Meanwhile, HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G feature phones are priced at Rs 1,899 and Rs 2,199, respectively. These devices are now available for purchase through HMD’s website, e-commerce platforms, and at select retail stores.

The HMD Vibe 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset and ships with stock Android 15. The phone is slated to receive two years of quarterly security updates. For optics, the HMD Vibe 5G has a 50MP sensor alongside a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP front camera. The HMD Vibe 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the phone weighs 190g.

The HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G have a 2-inch QQVGA display and are powered by the Unisoc 8910 FF-S chipset. They support 16MB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 32GB, with a microSD card. The HMD 102 4G includes a QVGA camera with flash at the back. Both models support FM radio, an MP3 player, cloud apps, and local languages. They come with a 1,000mAh removable battery and offer dual SIM support.
