Hitman 3 VR Reloaded: First gameplay trailer shows Agent 47 dual-wielding weapons

The first gameplay trailer for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded has arrived and shows Agent 47 dual-wielding items (a first for the series) and travelling across the world to carry out different assignments. The Hitman 3 VR Reloaded gameplay trailer touches briefly on the game's VR features like the new cel-shaded art style and what Agent 47 will be busy doing as an elite assassin.

1. Hitman 3 VR Reloaded: Developer and publisher
   Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded is being developed by UK-based VR game developer XR Games, which will publish the stealth-based game too. Some of the VR titles the Leeds-based XR Games has worked on are Jurassic World Aftermath, Zombieland: Headshot Fever and ForeVR Pool.

Hitman 3 VR Reloaded introduces dual wielding to the Hitman series. Hitman’s dual wielding can be observed in the beginning of the trailer as Agent 47 is seen with two different pistols in both hands, pointed at the back of his supposed target.

With dual wielding, you can use both hands simultaneously to use weapons and items. Like, use two rifles at the same time, one in each hand, on different targets. Or use one hand to throw a knife at someone and the other to shoot someone else in the same area. The new Hitman 3 VR Reloaded trailer also shows Hitman stabbing and garroting people from behind. In Agent 47’s hands, anything can be a weapon, even a violin.

3. Hitman 3 VR Reloaded: Go anywhere, become anyone
As Hitman, your assignments will take you to locations like Berlin, Chongqing, Dartmoor, Dubai, Mendoza and the Carpathian Mountains. You can also impersonate people and infiltrate buildings and research centres with fake identities. For example, the Hitman 3 VR Reloaded trailer shows Agent 47 at some research facility in the guise of a researcher.

4. Hitman 3 VR Reloaded: An overhauled UI, improved movement
As per XR Games, “Hitman 3’s UI has been completely redesigned for VR, ensuring intuitive control and navigation.” Player movement has also been improved in Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded and the VR game will offer “fluid and natural locomotion options, making it easier than ever to navigate complex environments with speed and stealth”, claims XR Games.
