Amazon has introduced Echo Show 21–its biggest smart speaker in the Echo Show lineup yet–and an all-new, upgraded Echo Show 15. The Echo Show 21 smart speaker comes with “nearly double the viewing area of Echo Show 15”.
Amazon claims that both Echo Show 21 and the upgraded Echo Show 15 offer better audio quality than the original Echo Show 15. They are also the first Echo devices to come equipped with Wi-Fi 6E for a better Fire TV video and music streaming experience.
Amazon has upgraded the auto-framing camera for video calls. The camera has more than double the field of view and 65% more zoom than the first-generation Echo Show 15, claims the tech and e-commerce giant.
Amazon Echo Show 21 features a 21-inch Full-HD smart display with built-in Fire TV and Alexa. Amazon calls the Echo Show 21 a "smart kitchen TV". The large 21-inch display can be used as the family's organisation hub, says Amazon. The Echo Show 21 allows easy viewing of top widgets, like calendars, shopping lists, weather, etc.
Amazon Echo Show 15 and 21 come with built-in smart home hubs; they’re compatible with Matter as controllers and can directly connect with Wi-Fi, Thread and Zigbee devices. The Echo Show 15 and 21 can control a range of devices locally, such as lights, switches and plugs.
The new Echo 15 and 21 devices feature a refreshed audio hub that displays your favourite music, podcast and radio content from providers in one place. Users can now quickly tap to group and play audio across Echo speakers.
