Amazon Games recently announced “March of Giants”, its upcoming free-to-play 4v4 War Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game for PC (via Steam). The MOBA title from Amazon Games is based around team-based military combat in which each team’s Giant leads a large number of soldiers into battle. The upcoming MOBA game from Amazon has also received a gameplay trailer. Here are the key details you need to know about Amazon Games’ March of Giants.
March of Giants: Developer
The MOBA title “March of Giants” is developed by Amazon Games Montreal. Many developers in the Montreal team have previously worked on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.
Be a Giant and command your regiment
In March of Giants, you will lead your faction as one of the Giants. Choose from Giants like Brother Light, Goliath, Le Poilu, Stratus, etc. Each Giant comes with unique abilities.
As a Giant, you’ll command a regiment of armed forces that you will lead into battle. As per Amazon, you will be leading “thousands” of soldiers as a Giant.
Deploy bunkers, trenches
In March of Giants, you can also deploy tactical structures like Bunkers and Trenches to spring the surprise of your juggernaut.
Deploy tanks
Aside from charging into battle with infantry and using troop-support structures like bunkers and trenches, you’ll also get the option to call in tanks to cause massive damage to and decimate the enemy forces.
Reinforcements arrive via Soldier Drop
The 4v4 War MOBA game from Amazon Games allows you to para-drop your troops from airborne Zeppelins via the “Soldier Drop” ability.
March of Giants: Closed Alpha Testing
The initial closed alpha testing for Amazon Games’ March of Giants will take place from September 2 to 10. The closed alpha test will give the eligible players 15 Giants to choose from, out of which 10 will be available from the start. The remaining five Giants will unlock as you progress through the game.
Who Gets To Play Closed Alpha First?
Players from the United States, Canada and Mexico will be the first to get a chance to try out Amazon Games’ March of Giants.
March of Giants: What the Future Holds
As per Amazon Games, "more regions and tests” are planned for March of Giants. As of now, Amazon has not disclosed a release date for the MOBA game.
