The White House Rose Garden turned into a power-packed dinner venue on Thursday night, as US President Donald Trump welcomed some of the biggest names in technology and artificial intelligence.

What stood out from the high-profile guest list was the strong Indian presence. Out of 11 top tech leaders invited, five were of Indian origin. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, TIBCO Software chairman Vivek Ranadive, and Palantir executive Shyam Sankar all attended the dinner, highlighting how Indian-origin leaders continue to shape global technology.

They were joined by other industry heavyweights including Apple CEO Tim Cook, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Oracle CEO Safra Catz, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, and OpenAI leaders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman.

The Rose Garden was specially redecorated for the evening, with outdoor tables and umbrellas giving it the feel of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. A White House spokesperson described it as “the hottest place to be in Washington.”
