WWE Crown Jewel 2025 Results and Highlights: John Cena and AJ Styles engaged in a classic at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia - as both paid homage to a host of present and past superstars. This was after the evening started with drama between Roman Reigns and The Usos as Jey cost his cousin the match against Bronson Reed.
Stephanie Vaquer and Seth Rollins won the respective Crown Jewel Championship matches; and crowd favourite Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane (The Kabuki Warriors) in a Tag-Team battle.
WWE Crown Jewel 2025: A detailed description of how the matches unfolded...
John Cena beats AJ Styles
It was only fitting to witness how things got underway in one of the best matches in WWE this year. Both John Cena and AJ Styles were given special introduction and the emotions resonated perfectly at the packed arena.
Then came the action, which started with Cena hitting Styles with a Knuckle Shuffle and followed it with a Skull-Crushing Finale. Cena then went for a cover but Styles kicked-out, making it one of the multiple near falls in the action-packed contest.
Styles slowly got things under control as both superstars tried to lock the other with a series of iconic finishers, keeping the fans hooked. After this Styles connected his signature Styles Splash but it was not enough for a victory.
Cena returned the favour by connecting a Sister Abigail on Styles and the action only got intense from there onwards. Cena also connected Styles with a DDT from the middle-rope and hit him with a RKO. Cena then attempted a Stomp, which was countered by an Attitude Adjustment by Styles. As Styles attempted a "Knuckle Shuffle", Cena clutched his neck and hit him with a Chokeslam.
This led to massive chants of 619 from fans and Cena obliged only to be taken down with a Clothesline. Styles then hit Cena with a Sweet Chin Music but it was not enough to keep the 17-time WWE champion grounded.
Styles continued his assault with a Phenomenal Forearm but the outcome remained the same. As the action continued, Cena hit Styles with an Attitude Adjustment and went for the cover but the latter kicked out.
Cena eventually wrapped the epic contest with a Tombstone Piledriver and followed it with another Attitude Adjustment. Both superstars acknowledged each others legacy after the contest, leaving the fans delighted - who responded with "Thank you Cena" chants.
Bronson Reed beats Roman Reigns in Australian Street Fight
The event kicked-off with the Street Fight between 'Big' Bronson Reed and 'Original Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns. Despite Reed being a local superstar, it was Reigns who got massive love from the crowd.
The match saw Reigns use a cricket bat to beat Reed, and the commentators were quick to connect it with the upcoming Ashes. Moments later Reigns grabbed the microphone and asked Perth to "acknowledge him" if they wanted to be entertained with a table, which eventually became the reason for his loss.
Reigns kept the momentum intact until Bron Breakker introduced himself and the referee couldn't do anything as it was well within the rules. The two combined to throw Reigns on the announce table, following which The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) walked out to assist their cousin.
However, Jey accidentally cost Reigns the match as Reed dodged an incoming spear that hit the OTC and sent him crashing through the table placed in the corner of the ring. Subsequently, Breakker took Jey out with a spear of his own and assisted Reed to connect a 'Tsunami' on Reigns, which was the final action of the match.
Following the contest, fans witnessed some tension boil between The Usos and their cousin, indicating a possible fallout.
Seth Rollins (WWE Heavyweight Champion) wins Men's Crown Jewel Championship against Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Champion)
Theatrics are expected when Seth Rollins is inside the ring and it was the case. Rollins rolled out of the ring after an initial exchange, leading to jeers from the crowd. He did the same moments later and this time he switched attention towards Wade Barrett on the announce table, leading to action shift momentarily outside the ring.
The match continued with both displaying textbook style wrestling. Rhodes hit Rollins with a Cody Cutter but it was not enough for a pinfall. Rollins returned the favour with a Pedigree and a Stomp, both of which couldn't land him the win. The theatrics continued as Rollins argued with the official, alleging it was a slow count.
He then rolled outside the ring, stared at the prize on the line and picked the Rolex watch, which was gifted to him by Rhodes after his famous WrestleMania win.
However, this allowed Rhodes substantial time to recover but he failed to capitalise. Rollins then executed a Coast-to-Coast Headbutt as both superstars kept intensity at the highest.
And later with the referee recovering from an accidental blow, Rollins managed to use the watch on Rhodes as the latter had placed him for a Cross Rhodes. He then finished the match with a couple of Stomps, which also marked his first career win over Rhodes.
Stephanie Vaquer (WWE Women's World Champion) wins Women's Crown Jewel Championship against Tiffany Stratton (WWE Women's Champion)
The match between Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton was filled with action, which the former eventually won. The outcome saw Vaquer win the Women's Crown Jewel Championship, a notable addition in her growing resume at WWE.
Meanwhile, the win comes just three weeks after she defeated IYO Sky for the vacant WWE Women's World Championship at Wrestlepalooza held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky beat The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) in Tag-Team match
The Kabuki Warriors grabbed the initial momentum by putting a brutal assault on Iyo Sky and preventing the tag. Asuka in between also mocked Rhea Ripley, who helplessly saw things go south waiting for her turn. The tag was eventually made after Sky took Asuka face down in the middle of the ring and Rhea got involved.
The action showcased great chemistry between both the teams but it was The Kabuki Warriors, who seemed to have an answer for everything.
Moments later Sky hit Sane with a Bullet Train and followed it with a Moon Sault from the top rope. It appeared enough for Sane to withstand anything further but Asuka broke the cover.
The action continued and Asuka kept the charge on, but favourites Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky proved strong enough to resist everything and combined to walkout with a win.
