Paralympics Medal Tally 2024: Complete list of Indians who secured podium finish at Paris

Avani Lekhara won a gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 category. She scored a total of 249.7 in the final, which helped her create a new Paralympics record. In the process she smashed the previous record of 249.6, which was set by her in the previous edition held in Tokyo. Mona Agarwal - Bronze

Mona Agarwal won a bronze medal in the same event where Avani won gold. She secured the bronze by accumulating a total point of 228.7. It was also the first time India managed a double podium finish in the same event at the Paralympic Games.

Preethi Pal - Two bronze medals

Preethi Pal became the first Indian woman to bag two medals in track and field events at the Paralympics. She started with a bronze in the women’s 100m T35 category with a timing of 14.21 seconds. She then went to win her second medal (bronze) in the women's 200m T35 category with a timing of 30.01m.

Manish Narwal - Silver

Manish Narwal won a silver medal in the men’s 10m air pistol shooting SH1 category. The 22-year-old para shooter scored 234.9 in the final.

Rubina Francis - Bronze

Rubina Francis clinched bronze in the women's 10m air pistol SH1 event, which was India's fourth medal in para-shooting. She scored a total of 211.11 points.

Nishad Kumar - Silver

Nishad Kumar secured a silver medal in men’s high jump T47 category. This was his second successive silver at the Paralympics, having achieved a similar feat three years ago at Tokyo.

Yogesh Kathuniya - Silver

Yogesh Kathuniya secured a silver medal in men's discus throw F56 event with a season best attempt of 46.86m. This was his second medal at the Paralympics, having won a silver medal in the previous edition held in Tokyo.

Nitesh Kumar - Gold

Nitesh Kumar won a gold medal in the men's badminton singles SL3 category by beating Great Britain's Daniel Bethell in the final, which was a three-game thriller. This was Nitesh's first gold at the Paralympics.

Thulasimathi Murugesan - Silver

Thulasimathi Murugesan won a silver medal in the women's badminton singles SU5 category. She went down against China's defending champion Yang Qiuxia in the final.

Manisha Ramadass - Bronze

Manisha Ramadass won a bronze medal in the women's badminton singles SU5 category.

Suhas Yathiraj - Silver

Suhas Yathiraj, a 2007 batch IAS officer, won a silver medal in the men's badminton singles SL4 category. This was his second successive Paralympics silver medal.

Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar - Bronze

The duo of Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar claimed a bronze medal with a 156-155 win over Italy's Eleonora Sarti and Matteo Bonacina in mixed team compound archery competition.

Sumit Antil - Gold

Star javelin thrower Sumit Antil scripted history by becoming the first Indian male, and the second athlete from the country, to successfully defend his title. He clinched gold medal in men's javelin F64 category gold medal with a Paralympic record throw of 70.59m.

Nithya Sre Sivan - Bronze

Nithya Sre Sivan won a bronze medal in women's badminton singles SH6 category.

Deepthi Jeevanji - Bronze

Deepthi Jeevanji secured bronze medal in the women's 400m T20 category. Deepthi clocked 55.82 seconds to finish behind Yuliia Shuliar (55.16 seconds) of Ukraine and world record holder Aysel Onder (55.23) of Turkey.

Mariyappan Thangavelu - Bronze

Mariyappan Thangavelu won the bronze medal in men’s high jump T63 class. This is his third medal at Paralympics, having secured a gold in Rio, and a silver in Tokyo previously. Thangavelu secured bronze with a jump of 1.85m

Sharad Kumar - Silver

Sharad Kumar, who had won a bronze in Tokyo Paralympics, finished with a silver in the same event where Mariyappan Thangavelu won bronze. Sharad secured silver with a jump of 1.88m.

Ajeet Singh - Silver

Ajeet Singh secured a silver medal in men's javelin throw T46 category with a personal best attempt of 65.62m.

Sundar Singh Gurjar - Bronze

Sundar Singh Gurjar secured a bronze in the same event as Ajeet Singh with an attempt of 64.96m.

Sachin Sarjerao Khilari - Silver

Sachin Sarjerao Khilari won silver in men's shot put F46 event. He secured the medal with an Asian record distance of 16.32m, which was his second attempt.

Harvinder Singh - Gold

Harvinder Singh scripted history by becoming the first Indian to win archery gold at Paralympics. The 33-year-old achieved the feat after beating Poland's Lukasz Ciszek 6-0 in the men's individual recurve final. He had won a bronze in the previous edition held in Tokyo.

Dharambir - Gold

Dharambir secured gold in the men's club throw F51 event, which was India's fifth gold at the ongoing edition. He secured the medal with a best attempt of 34.92m.

Pranav Soorma - Silver

Pranav Soorma won silver in the same event as Dharambir. He clinched the second spot with a best attempt of 34.59m.

Kapil Parmar - Bronze

Kapil Parmar scripted history as he became the first Paralympic medalist in Judo from India. He secured a bronze medal in men's 60KG J1 category.

Praveen Kumar - Gold

Praveen Kumar bagged a gold medal in men's High Jump T-64 category, achieving a record-breaking jump of 2.08 meters. This impressive leap also helped the Indian set a new Asian record.

Hokato Hotozhe Sema - Bronze

Hokato Hotozhe Sema became the first athlete from Nagaland to win a Paralympic medal. He secured a bronze in men's shot put F57 event with a personal best throw of 14.65 meter.

Simran Sharma - Bronze

Simran secured bronze in the women's T12 200m final with a timing of 24.75 seconds, which was her personal best timing.

Navdeep Singh - Gold

Navdeep grabbed silver in the men's javelin throw event F41 category at the Paris Paralympics, which was later upgraded to gold after Iran's Beit Sayah Sadegh was disqualified. Navdeep secured the podium finish with a throw of 47.32m, also smashing the Paralympic record in the process.
