Yuzvendra Chahal has been dominating headlines not because of cricket but mostly due to his failed marriage with popular choreographer. The couple had tied the knot in December 2020 and got divorced earlier this year after months of speculation. However, the marriage still remains a hot topic online and both individuals have opened up about the difficult phase in separate podcast interviews.

Chahal spoke to popular social media influencer Raj Shamani, where he spoke in length about his marriage with Dhanashree. During the interaction Chahal also opened up about his mental well-being, which took a massive hit, during this phase where he was also alleged of cheating.

Now weeks later Dhanashree appeared in a podcast for Humans of Bombay, where she did the same. She also accused Chahal of playing a victim while trashing his viral "Be Your Own Sugar Daddy" t-shirt, the photo of which had gone viral on social media.

“You know that people are going to blame you. Before I had even known that this T-shirt stunt had happened, we were all aware that people were going to blame me for this," Dhanashree said. Speaking further on the subject, she stated how surprised she was with Chahal's act. “Arey bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyun pehna hai? (You should have sent it on WhatsApp. Why wear the T-shirt?)"
