Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar wants Jasprit Bumrah to play all the remaining Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The star pacer has played both the games in Perth and Adelaide so far and there are already concerns about his workload. The 31-year-old has been the standout performer for India with 12 wickets in the series so far.

India faced a huge injury scare of Day 2 of the Pink-ball Test which they eventually lost by ten wickets as Bumrah was seen holding his abductor muscle. However, moments later he got up and started bowling again. His involvement in the remaining games still remains uncertain but Gavaskar wants him to play all the games as he is the best-performing bowler of the team.

"I would like him to play all 5 Test matches. You are playing for India, there is no question of all this workload and stuff like that. He has to play all 5 Test matches unless he is injured. This match has finished in two-and-a-half days and it hasn't gone on for 5 days," Gavaskar told India Today.
