The transition phase has started for Team India in the shortest format of cricket.

Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian T20I cricket squad arrived in Pallekele via Colombo from Mumbai on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Indian cricketers embarked on their initial practice session of the Sri Lanka series, under the supervision of Gautam Gambhir, who has succeeded Rahul Dravid as head coach.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, showcasing Gambhir's leadership during the training sessions.
