Star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have moved to London where they are living a life away from all the glamour and staardom. The couple who got married in December 2017 moved out of India in 2024 but they do visit India due to work commitments. The true reason behind Anushka and Virat’s decision to relocate to London has now been revealed.
A few months ago, Dr. Sriram Nene, Madhuri Dixit's husband and host of a health and wellness YouTube channel, invited YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia onto his podcast, where they shared their admiration for Virat Kohli.
In the video, Dr Nene recalled his conversation with Anushka when he said, "I'll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). And we appreciate what they go through, because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated."

Dr. Nene went on to discuss his complex relationship with fame and revealed that Anushka and Virat chose to move to London to raise their children away from the spotlight and glamour.
“I get along with everyone; I’m bindaas. But even there, it becomes challenging. There’s always a selfie moment. Not in a bad way, but there comes a time when it becomes intrusive, when you’re at dinner or lunch, and you have to be polite about it. For my wife, it becomes an issue. But (Anushka and Virat) are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally," he added.

Virat and Anushka met in 2013 while shooting for a TV commercial. The two fell in love with each other and eventually tied the knot in 2017. In January 2021, Kohli and Anushka welcome their first child, a baby girl and named her Vamika. Later in February 2024, the duo got blessed with another child, this time a boy and they named him Akaay.
