Caught and bowled is one of the toughest thing to do and on many occasions we see bowlers drop even the simplest of catch on their followthrough. The reaction time is little, particularly for a fast bowler, and it is understanable if the ball pops out of their hands. However, Pat Cummins defied the odds and produced a stunning caught and bowled effort in the ongoing second Test between West Indies and Australia at St Georges, Grenada.

Cummins produced the effort in the 9th over, dismissing Keacy Carty for 6(12). The Australian skipper dropped a length ball, which took an inside edge of Carty's bat and hit his thigh pads, following which the ball ballooned in the air momentarily. Cummins showing great game awareness chased after it and completed the catch right when the ball was about to hit the ground. What was even more incredible was the fact that the right-arm pacer then bowling from over the stumps ran across the pitch towards silly mid-on and put in a dive along with full length body slide before plucking it safely with one hand.
