Mohsin Naqvi ‘still hasn't agreed to give the Asia Cup trophy’ to India: Report

It is yet unclear when the members of the victorious squad will get the Asia Cup trophy, which is currently in the ACC office.

PCB and ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi denies to hand over Asia Cup trophy.

At the Asian Cricket Council's AGM on Tuesday, the BCCI voiced "strong objection" to India not receiving the Asia Cup winner's trophy. However, Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the organization, reportedly remained unyielding and "still not agreed" to the proposal.

"India raised strong objection in the ACC meeting today on not handing over of the trophy and the drama by ACC chairman (Naqvi) during the post-match award event," a PTI report quoted an ACC source as saying.
