SRH vs KKR, IPL Highlights: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) endured a tough IPL 2025 campaign but ensured they finished on a high. The Orange Army secured their third consecutive win on Sunday as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by a massive 110 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Heinrich Klaasen's powerful knock proved to be the difference between the two sides. The wicketkeeper-batter, who was promoted to No. 3, went berserk and slammed the joint third-highest century in IPL, equaling Yusuf Pathan's feat, which the ex-India all-rounder had set back in 2010. Klaasen took 37 balls to reach the triple-digit mark and eventually returned unbeaten on 105(39), which powered SRH to 278/3 after they won the toss and opted to bat. This was also the third highest team total in the history of IPL, and interestingly the Top 4 highest totals in the competition belongs to SRH. KKR in response endured a collapse right after powerplay and were bundled out for 168 in 18.4 overs.

The KKR chase began with Sunil Narine and Quinton de Kock taking full advantage of the field restrictions and the small ground dimensions. The pair added a quickfire 37 before Jaydev Unadkat castled Narine at 31(16). Unadkat added a second wicket by dismissing Ajinkya Rahane for 15(8) in the final over of the powerplay. Soon after the dismissal, KKR lost wickets in a rush as De Kock was packed by Eshan Malinga for 9(13) in the next over. Harsh Dubey then injected consecutive blows in the 8th over by dismissing Rinku Singh and Andre Russell. Rinku was dismissed for 9(6), while Russell fell for a golden duck against the spinner.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ramandeep Singh soon followed suit and departed for 14(18) and 13(5) respectively. Raguvanshi was outdone by Malinga, while Dubey outfoxed Ramandeep. Manish Pandey and Harshit Rana then dealt in boundaries but it was never enough in front of the staggering target. Pandey was eventually dismissed for 37(23) by Unadkat, which took his wicket tally to three and a ball later a brain fade moment led to Vaibhav Arora getting run-out for duck. Malinga then went to register his third scalp, which was also the final wicket of the night, as he dismissed Harshit for 34(20).
Earlier, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave Sunrisers an explosive start and added 92 for the first wicket. Narine broke the partnership by dismissing Abhishek for 16-ball 32. Head continued with the fireworks and slammed 26-ball 50 with Klaasen enjoying the show from arguably the best seat in the house.
The duo kept the momentum intact as SRH crossed the 150-mark in 11 overs and shortly after Klaasen raced to a 17-ball half-century. The pair added 83(35) for the second wicket before Narine removed Head for 76(40). Ishan Kishan then joined the action as Klaasen took the onus and did bulk of scoring, while the former played a perfect second fiddle. Ishan was dismissed for 29 off 20 balls, while Aniket Verma chipped in with a 6-ball 12* towards the end.
