Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, took a moment to boost his team’s morale with an encouraging speech after a tough loss against the Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens on Tuesday.

Shah Rukh Khan began, "Honestly, it’s a very proud day. The way we played; all of us. I won’t take individual names; that’s been done. Don’t feel down, GG. We will all bounce back. It’s God’s plan for today, as Rinku says. I think this is what we would like them to do. We’ll be back with more and better, God willing. Thank you, everyone, and may God bless all." His words brought back memories of his inspiring character in the film 'Chak De India'.

Despite Kolkata Knight Riders leading for most of the game, a brilliant century by Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler and Sunil Narine’s significant T20 achievement were overshadowed, leading to a narrow two-wicket defeat for KKR.

Shah Rukh continued, "There are days in our lives, especially in sports, when we don’t deserve to lose. And there are also days when we don’t deserve to win. But that’s just how it is. Today we didn’t deserve to lose. We all played extremely well. We have to be very, very proud of ourselves. Please don’t feel sad or down. Feel as happy as we do whenever we come to the changing room. We are on a high, so let's keep that feeling. The main thing is our energy. And I think we have great energy on the field. We have a lovely energy here; everyone is bonding well. So, please continue. All the best,"
