India emerged victorious over Pakistan last night in the T20 World Cup clash, securing a six-run win. Rishabh Pant contributed 42 runs, while Jasprit Bumrah claimed three crucial wickets. With Pakistan's total of 113 falling short of India's 119, their chances of advancing to the Super Eight stage were significantly diminished.

Addressing journalists post-match, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed a shift in perspective, stating that initially a thought for minor adjustments was there, but after the dismal performance against India, it's evident that major changes are imperative.

Naqvi underscored the current downturn in Pakistani cricket. Naqvi further stated that the Pakistan team is at its lowest and their main challenge is to uplift their performance at any cost.

Hinting at forthcoming alterations within the team, Naqvi emphasized that the team must be groomed for the Champions Trophy and opportunities be provided to budding talent waiting in the wings.
