The story of the fallen marriage between Dhanashree Verma, actor and choreographer, with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal still continues to buzz. The actress, who is part of Amazon MX Player's show Rise and Fall, is constantly asked about her personal life and Verma doesn't shy from revealing details. In her latest revelation, she accused Chahal of cheating on him.
In a segment of the show, Verma is shown seated with Kubbra Sait having a conversation over breakfast. During the exchange, Verma revealed that she caught Chahal cheating on her in the second month of their marriage.
“When did you realise in your relationship that, ‘Bhai, yeh nahi chal sakta, yeh mistake ho gaya hai abhi?’ (When did you realize in your relationship that, this can’t go on, and that it was a mistake?)," asked Kubbra. Dhanashree replied, “First year. Caught him in the second month," leaving Kubbra shocked.

Meanwhile, during an appearance on Raj Shamani's podcast couple of months earlier, Chahal had opened up about being called a "cheater" during the divorce proceedings with the actress. He had then rejected any claims on the same.
"I think when my divorce happened, people alleged me of being a cheater. I have never cheated in my life. I am not that kind of a person. You won't find anyone more loyal than me. I think from my heart for my closed ones, always. I do not demand, I always give. When people don't know anything, but they keep blaming me, so you start thinking [otherwise]," the India bowler said.
"Because I have two sisters and have grown up with them since childhood, I know how to respect women, because my parents have taught me how to respect them. I've learnt my life lessons from people around me. It is not necessary that if my name is being linked to someone, people get to write anything about it, only for views," the cricketer added.
