Anaya Bangar, child of former India cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar, last year shared a journey of transformation. Post a hormonal replacement therapy and gender reaffirming surgery, Anaya who's old name was Aryan revealed some unfortunate events she went through.
Anaya had previously spoken about undergoing gender-affirming surgery and how the transformative experience brought significant challenges and changes to every aspect of her life, including her cricket career.

Now, in an interview with Lallantop, Anaya shed light on the harsh realities faced by trans women in society, recounting the harassment she endured from some cricketers — representatives of the so-called "gentleman’s game" — ranging from unsolicited nude photos to inappropriate requests for sex.
Anaya recently opened up about the response she received from fellow cricketers following her gender reaffirmation surgery, revealing a mix of support and harassment.

“There has been support and there have been some harassment as well," Anaya said.
She disclosed that a few cricketers had sent her unsolicited nude photographs.
“There have been a few cricketers who randomly sent me nude pictures of them," she added.
Anaya also recounted an incident involving a player who would publicly abuse her but later behave inappropriately in private.
“The person used to give gaalis in front of everybody. The same person then used to come and sit beside me and ask for my photos," she said.
In a particularly disturbing revelation, Anaya shared an experience with a veteran cricketer, who made a sexual proposition after she confided in him about her identity.
“There was another instance, when I was in India, I told a puraane (veteran) cricketer about my situation. He told me, ‘Let’s go in the car, I want to sleep with you,'" Anaya stated.
