The cricketer has shed 17 kilograms, reflecting a massive transformation. The development comes after the constant criticism the Mumbai batter was exposed to over his weight.

Despite doing a decent job in the international arena, which was after stacking piles of runs in the domestic circuit, he still struggled to cement his spot in India's Test side. In six Tests, the batter has amassed 371 runs at an average of over 37. It includes a high score of 150, featuring a ton and three half-centuries. However, he was not considered for the ongoing tour of England, where India trail 1-2, with the fourth encounter at Manchester scheduled to start from Wednesday.
