Cricket Australia (CA) have announced a 13-man squad for the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Team India. Nathan McSweeney has been named in the team and he is set to open the innings for Australia alongside Usman Khawaja. Pat Cummins will once again lead the Aussies from the end and wicket-keeper Josh Inglis has also been added to the team as backup for Alex Carey.

"Nathan has displayed the attributes we believe will equip him well for Test cricket along with a strong recent record in domestic cricket," Bailey said in a media release.
